Introducing the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024
TechCrunch Disrupt 2024, which takes place from October 28-30 at Moscone West in San Francisco, is approaching rapidly. Today, we are excited to announce the 200 startups selected to participate in this year's Startup Battlefield 200 (SB 200) cohort.
TechCrunch's editorial team carefully reviewed and debated over thousands of applications to narrow down the field to 200 companies. The vetting process highlighted the incredible creativity, innovation, and talent within the startup community. We are eager for you to explore the Startup Battlefield 200 listings and be inspired by the amazing startups.
Hailing from different parts of the world, these 200 companies showcase innovation in categories such as:
- SaaS, enterprise, and productivity
- Healthtech and biotech
- Hardware, robotics, and IoT
- Fintech and edtech
- Security, privacy, and social networking
- Sustainability, mobility, and logistics
Each startup in the cohort receives a VIP experience at Disrupt 2024 including master classes, pitch deck teardowns, curated receptions, investor access, and more. These startups are the only early-stage companies permitted to exhibit at Disrupt 2024, and they will be present on the expo floor throughout the event.
The SB 200 companies join an esteemed group of over 1,300 Startup Battlefield alumni, which includes notable companies like Cloudflare, Dropbox, Getaround, and Discord.
And of course, a TechCrunch Disrupt event wouldn't be complete without the Startup Battlefield stage competition.
Out of the 200 companies, 20 have been chosen to pitch on the Disrupt stage for a chance to win a $100,000 equity-free prize and the Disrupt Cup. The remaining 180 will pitch on the Pitch Showcase Stage in the Expo Hall, offering valuable opportunities for networking and exposure.
